Transmission Project Leader - Sales Engineering Role - Based in the North Central Territory of the USA (Home-Based)

RESPONSIBILITIES

Track and manage promotional work on major transmission projects.
Manage key consulting engineering firms
Understand transmission project opportunities, including full-cycle project leadership: routing, siting, estimating, scheduling, hosting meetings, line design, permitting, material acquisition, contract writing, bids, invoices, change orders, conducting meetings and submitting project reports.
Promote company transmission product offering and services
Support territory managers with product approvals at key accounts
Provide technical support to end-users, consultants, territory managers
Prepare presentations for customer meetings, seminars, industry meetings, etc.
Assist in preparation of technical publications
Assist with coordination of project bids between business units and sales territories
Understand market and identify new business opportunities
Communicate activities to supervisor, Regional Sales VP's and territory managers.

TERRITORY

REQUIREMENTS

BS degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering
Minimum of 5 years of transmission engineering experience
Experience working for a large engineering firm or Energy, Utilities Power Company working directly with large scale Transmission Projects (138kV to 345kV)
Ability to travel 50% - 60% on related business trips
