Develops methodologies to integrate the Company’s products into high-value solutions for customer environments. This position will require approximately 50% travel.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Support pre-sales & post-sales application activity and collaborate with the Company’s business partners in the integration of the company’s power generation equipment into systems for clients that provide added value.
Act as a key business partner and end-use customer liaison in project implementation, and work with the Company’s Service to help commission systems involving new applications or new business partners that require extra support.
Provide feedback to Sales Engineering and Engineering team members for new and improved products based on customer and partner field experience.
Perform Conceptual Approvals and Preliminary Design Reviews on selected projects to assure successful operation of the Company’s products.
Create educational material for our business partners and end-users in the form of application guides, whitepapers, and training presentations that clearly describe proper application of the company’s power generation products.
Review the accuracy of technical documentation produced in the customer service & marketing organizations in support of the Company’s power generation products.
Skills and Abilities Required:
Exceptional oral and written communication skills.
Ability to work in a fast paced, dynamic, entrepreneurial environment where growth and professionalism will be achieved largely through creativity, high integrity, reasoned and thoughtful judgment, sense of urgency, a balance between strategic and tactical skills and a willingness to “roll up the sleeves.”
Ability to think strategically and deliver tactically.
Successful application of project management in complex environments.
Knowledge of and experience in control systems and power generation.
Outstanding interpersonal skills.
Proven analytical and problem solving abilities.
Responsible for meeting department cost and staffing objectives in a timely manner and within current department financial constraints.
Proficient in MS Office suite.
Education and Experience Desired:
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering; Advanced degree preferred.
Five to seven years hands on sustained success in application integration in the energy, power or associated industry.
