YOUR ROLE:
The Electrical Engineer will be responsible for integrating new automation solutions, supporting engineering projects and developing PLC programs and schematics. He/she will also be responsible for facilities troubleshooting, automation support, interfacing with machine suppliers and production support. The Electrical Engineer position is critical to drive continuous improvement while maintaining appropriate support of the production floor and ensure the company can continue to successfully support new programs. The EE will also lead energy savings projects.
BACKGROUND PROFILE:
4 year Degree in Electrical Engineering
3-5 years on the job experience - Previous facilities maintenance experience a plus.
Experience in training and developing others in programming and troubleshooting
Experience tracking and maintaining documentation and software
Experience with Siemens products a plus.
Very strong knowledge and experience with:
Allen Bradley products and PLC programming.
Installation and programming of Motoman robots.
AutoCAD and electrical schematics.
Vision systems and laser gauging.
