Pay Rate: $50/hr w2
Work with a team of engineers to develop electromagnetic models to capture electromagnetic environment effects (E3)including the prediction of pin level transients. Work within a cross functional team to leverage inputs from CAD, subsystems and systems engineering to develop a baseline electromagnetic model and increment as the system design evolves to capture E3 effects. Updates to the model may include general design changes or the evaluation of potential mitigation approaches. Responsible for model validation through the selection of hardware sets which may be components, subsystems or a combination of them. Includes the development of test plans for the evaluation of those hardware sets with demonstration of model validation though appropriate comparisons between the model and measurements. Travel of up to 25% of the time may be required.
