Reporting to the Engineering Manager, this individual will be a member of a team responsible for managing projects from conception through production, ensuring that project requests are handled in a prompt and effective manner. This is a very hands-on position that will work closely with customers, operations and other plant functions to ensure that proper design specifications and testing procedures are performed.
This person must be able to handle multiple projects and tasks, from product inception through product launch and maintenance. Additionally, this individual will play an active role in the processes to ensure products meet quality standards consistent with customer design specifications and various regulatory requirements. This may require some travel to customer locations for support and assistance.
The ideal candidate would have a minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering and a minimum of 5 years’ experience, including PCB design. Experience in a manufacturing environment and a demonstrated track record of managing multiple projects is important. A team player who can communicate with the management team, employees, suppliers and key customers is also necessary. Competency in both 2D and 3D CAD/CAM and Microsoft Office software as needed to complete projects.
