The Maintenance Manager will tackle four primary challenges:
Ensure profitable plant productivity, cycle time, and cost goals are achieved by proactively limiting equipment downtime and expeditiously handling unexpected equipment issues with a great sense of urgency.
Lead, manage, and develop maintenance employees to ensure that the necessary capabilities and culture exist to maintain a sustainable, effective operation.
Think strategically to improve processes and proactively seek to implement changes to optimize performance.
Maintain an organized work environment that ensures the safety of all employees.
10-15 Years of Professional Experience working with critical equipment in a continuous production environment.
Significant experience with TPM and success with process improvements including utilizing continuous process disciplines such as Lean Manufacturing.
Strong knowledge of mechanical/ electrical diagnosis and general concepts of hydraulics/ pneumatics, and PLC knowledge.
Strong business acumen.
Relevant experience in the Glass Industry
A bachelor’s degree, or equivalent from a four-year college or certificate program, required. Strong preference for degree in Mechanical/ Electrical Engineering or Business Administration.
Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.
