RM Schulte and Associates, one of the industries’ leading search firms has been selected to lead a search in the Marysville, OH area for a Maintenance Technician.


ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (to include but not limited to):
  • Understand and troubleshoot Pneumatics, 24VDC control circuits, and mechanical fixtures.
  • Be able to troubleshoot and repair automated equipment including mechanical, pneumatic and electrical control circuits.
  • Fully understand and troubleshoot motor controls, sensors, and motors.
  • Must be able to fabricate simple projects to meet needs of production departments.
  • Responsible to complete Preventative Maintenance checks on a routine schedule.
  • Candidate must have PLC’s troubleshooting skills
  • Candidate should have a willingness to learn PLC programming skills
  • Familiarity with high speed scanning operations (Data Logics) are a significant plus
  • Candidate must be willing to work daily and weekend overtime to maintain equipment.
  • Understand power distribution system up to 480V electricity (Control transformers, etc.)
  • Understand and troubleshoot VFD’s, AC/DC motors, servo motors, and controls
  • Track equipment issues, complete CMMS work orders, and consolidate system
 
QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION
  • 1 – 2 years Technical School in Maintenance or Engineering related field
  • 5 years relative experience in Engineering/maintenance experience in industrial or manufacturing facilities
  • Hands on maintenance and troubleshooting experience with knowledge of  aspects of machine troubleshooting, process and machine improvements, PM plans, and installation of new equipment
  • Experience in repair and analysis of mechanical and electronic systems
  • Experience with mechanical devices, tools, and equipment relating to ASRS and/or distribution equipment
  • Solid communication skills (both written and verbal)
  • Ability to work closely with department and engineering management to resolve equipment issues
  • Strong PC skills including but not limited to Microsoft Office
  • AutoCAD and / or additional drawing / designing skills are a plus
