DescriptionOur client in North Carolina is seeking an individual to supervise and coordinate
activities in the area of Electric Engineering. This individual will be responsible for performing
advanced specialized engineering work involving surveys, investigations, structures and
equipment with moderate to complex features; designing/reviewing moderate to complex
drawings, plans, and specifications of proposed projects; determining work and materials as
required; performing moderate to complex engineering studies; analyzing/interpreting data;
troubleshooting problems and making recommendations; performing field work; and meeting
with customers/contractors concerning utility services. Candidate must have thorough
knowledge of principles and practices of electrical engineering; be able to evaluate and solve
technical engineering problems; be able to schedule and prioritize work; prepare/maintain
reports; and effectively coordinate multiple projects.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Graduate of a 4-year accredited university/college with a Bachelors Degree in Electrical
Engineering and a minimum of 5 years of progressively responsible experience performing
electrical engineering work for a utility, with the overseeing/reviewing the work of others.
SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS:
Must possess or be able to obtain a North Carolina Professional Engineer registration within
six (6) months of employment in the position.
