DescriptionThe successful candidates will be leading members of the Combustion Turbine Controls Retrofit Project Group with responsibilities covering project management and control system retrofit design and implementation functions. Responsibilities will include providing technical leadership for control design standards development and testing of turbine retrofit control systems. Duties will require extensive control system design experience involving Siemens/Westinghouse and General Electric combustion turbine fleets. A comprehensive knowledge of Siemens TXP, Siemens T3000, GE Mark IV, and/or GE Mark V turbine control system technologies is required. Candidates shall possess effective communication and project management skills for interfacing with internal and external customers.
Other primary responsibilities include:
Technical support of proposal development
Multiple project coordination and scheduling
Provide technical direction and engineering support
Instruct, train, and guide personnel
Develop product and process improvements
Monitor project financial performance
Implement programs to achieve engineering productivity targets
The position requires a bachelors degree in engineering or equivalent and a minimum of 15-20 years of directly related experience with WDPF, Siemens TXP, Siemens T3000, GE Mark I, Mark IV, and/or Mark V turbine controls. Extensive experience with combustion turbine control philosophies and DLN fuel system operation is required.
Position requires 15-20% travel.
