DescriptionOur client located in East Texas is seeking a degreed Electrical Engineer with a minimum of five years of project and maintenance experience in a cogen facility. The facility contains units ranging in age from the 40 years old to present day and we need someone who is a nuts and bolts electrical engineer familiar with substations, breakers, and motor controls. While our client does own several substations, some are owned by the power provider. Candidates with experience with power of 12kv and up are preferred.
The primary function for the individual in this position is to act as the go between for the internal design group and the power provider to review drawings, communicate output requirements to the power provider, and troubleshoot the project as needed. This position is perfect for someone looking to split time between the office and the field and who is looking for some job security. Our client has several DCS Engineers and programmers but needs someone with strong power experience to round out the group.
