Responsible for the continuous safe and efficient operations and maintenance of assigned functional areas, you’ll provide others with leadership, coaching, counseling, advice, and teaching. You’ll direct, monitor, and evaluate performance of direct reports within the reporting organizations. You’ll also prepare, control, and administer budgets to achieve business results relating to overall performance, cost efficiency, and reliability.
Our ideal candidate is a results-oriented professional with the ability to manage an overall maintenance program consisting of preventative, predictive, and corrective maintenance techniques, as well as:
§ 7-10 years’ experience in progressively responsible assignments (demonstrating success in both technical and supervisory positions within power plant operations)
§ Successful experience participating in and managing work team activities
§ Proficient PC skills, including CMMS, Excel, Word and Access
§ Exceptional oral and written communication skills
§ Self-motivation ad ability to work with limited direct supervision
Additional consideration will be given to candidates with:
· Bachelor’s degree in Engineering
· Union supervisory experience
